This year’s Boston Film Festival will be condensed to a five-day affair, half of last year’s 10-day run.
Festival officials announced the change yesterday as they released a partial list of this year’s lineup, headlined by three Hollywood features: the US premiere of ”Prime,” starring Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman; ”Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer; and ”North Country,” featuring Charlize Theron and Frances McDormand.

A two-DVD collector’s edition of “The Day After Tomorrow” will be released on May 24th, Dash’s birthday. Coincidentally, the New York premiere was held last year on his birthday.
Also, Dash has signed on for a role in the film “Truth, Justice And The American Way”, about the death of actor George Reeves, television’s most famous Superman. More details will be posted as they become available.
